AdapterWatch is a utility which displays useful information about your network adapter like IP addresses, MAC(hardware addresses), bytes received/sent in real-time mode, WINS servers, DNS servers, MTU value, Current transfer rate. In addition, it shows the TCP/UDP statistics, IP & ICMP statistics for your local computer.

Besides Viewing the Adapter statistics you can Release/renew IP addresses.

Using this feature IP can be obtained from the DHCP if you don’t enter your IP manually in the TCP/IP properties. Alternately this can be done through  MS-DOS using “ipconfig /release” and “ipconfig /renew” commands.
