What is a Backup? Backup means copying files or databases and preserved to prevent data loss incase there is any hard disk failure or other catastrophe. It is advisable to backup critical data regularly and store in CD/DVD’s or external hard drives.

FBackup is a free and easy-to-use software which helps you Backup and Restore data of your disks with friendly wizards. It has the Automatic Backup feature which allows you to take backups automatically at the scheduled date, saving your time.

It uses the standard ZIP format to backup files further you can protect those files with password.

You can make the backup directly in external drives or on the network. The software will automatically check for weekly updates(option to disable). Using the windows Volume Shadow service it can even backup open files.

Overall, its a good software for Personal and Office use.
