While copying data from an old or scratched CD/DVD we often get an error copying few files or mostly rejects the medium completely. Encopy is a tiny freeware (19KB) designed to recover files from damaged hard drives and other removable or optical drives. It tries to copy as much data as possible from the damaged files.

Encopy comes with lot of options like it allows to verify the copied data, shows files details, Skip read-only, hidden,empty & system files, allows your to force copy files faster than usual copy method, etc

Some large data files might take time if you select the verify data option. Only problem is you cannot select a whole folder to copy, only one file at a time OR you can select multiple files of same extension.

Example: you want to recover all mp3 files from F: Drive, select F:\*.mp3 (Source)

Hope they add the copy folder method in later version so keep checking for newer versions on their page.
