Microsoft  has closed the free download for Windows 7 Beta on their official site but you can still download the beta version and other leaked later builds from torrent sites or other file sharing sites like Rapidshare.

With upcoming builds Microsoft has added a wide range of hardware support than Windows Vista, currently all hardware which works well on Windows Vista will do pretty fine on your Windows 7 installation.

Now Microsoft has officially  added drivers on their site to optimize the performance of the hardware on Windows 7 platform. Currently the list of the device drivers is very short but it will grow eventually till the final release of Windows 7.
