How to display Folder and Subfolders size in Windows Explorer

April 26th, 2009

foldersize

Typically, Windows displays only file size and not the  folder size in Windows explorer. To view the folder size you have to see the properties of the folder by right clicking. But, if you want to have a quick glance at the folder to see how much space the folder is occupying you can use a small utility called Folder Size. It adds a new column to your windows system to see the exact size of all folders.

Just download and install from the link below. Once installed right click the colum header and you will notice a new entry “Folder Size”,  select it and you are done. Now, a new column will be added and the folder size can be viewed.

Available for both 32 and 64-bit.
