Google Video Increases upload limit to 16GB

Google has increased the file size limit of uploads to Google Videos from 1GB to whooping 16GB. The change only affects Google Video, not Google’s other video site. YouTube uploads are still limited to 2GB. To take the advantage of the increased space users need to use Google Gears (available for Google Apps premier and education edition account).

Also, Google-owned YouTube has quietly launched a new feature that lets users easily share private videos. The user can generate a special URL that can be sent up to 25 people who, when logged into YouTube, can click to view.
