Media Access Control(MAC) is a machine address that uniquely identifies each machine on the network. It uniquely defines the Network adapter/Ethernet card or what most people call the LAN card on a Local Area Network. MAC addresses are 12-digit hexadecimal numbers(48 bits in length), something like this 00:1C:EA:C2:63:25

It is quite unlikely that you will ever need to change your MAC/Physical address of your  computer, but it’s always better to know.

This is one of the problem most windows XP users face. Many a times programs like Office, Winamp, Firefox, windows media player,etc stop responding and a “End Now” screen pops up. Clicking the end now button doesn’t help sometimes or take longer time to shut that application. The alternative  way to terminate is to End the Process from the Windows Task Manager.  Also, during windows shutdown applications like Firefox and Winamp take longer time to close, delaying the shutdown process. Here’s a simple solution for auto terminating the non responding  Windows programs.

Do you have more than one Google Talk accounts and want to use them all simultaneously without logging off from another account? By default Google Talk does not let you use multiple accounts at a time and you have to sign out one account in case you want to use another one.
