Everyone else told me though not to install any Task Killer applications on an Android phone as the OS takes care of the tasks and all that. Not sure what to believe anymore lol

I have an S2 and I would advise you not to install any task killer as this phone has a pre-installed software ‘Task manager’ which performs equally well if not better.

Advanced Task killer is the best app. Even though I dont own S2 but on my Gio, this thing saves my battery a lot. The inbuilt task manager doesnt show some apps that keep running in background !

    Don’t use Task Killer………

Just use the built-in Task Manager – accessible either through holding on the middle button or drag-drop a widget (shows you how many active apps are running and also how much RAM is being used).

Task Killer is a horrendous application, It just drains battery. It’s just as easy to use the in-built task killer! I use galaxys2apps.net to find all the best apps for my galaxy s2.
