Kbps means Kilo bits per second
KBps / KBPS means Kilo Bytes Per Second (also referred as actual download speed)
1024 bytes = 1 kilobyte = 8 kilobits
eg: for 512 Kbps(kilobits) = 512/8=64KBPS(KiloBytes)
slight fluctuations are must be allowed.
Therefore, your actual download speed (in bytes) should be what ur ISP says divided by 8.
