We all know, most virus, trojan, worms are spread from USB storage devices, this includes USB Flash drive, removable hard disk, Memory card, SD, MicroSD, MMC, USB Camera, USB Audio player, Mobile phone, iPod, Iphone etc.
Other antivirus softwares, update signature database regularly, and they can not effectively protect offline computer that is not connected to the Internet. When new viruses, worms and other malicious attacks strike, traditional signatures are insufficient.

Many viruses spread rapidly through USB devices. If you don’t have a good anti-virus program(updated) chances are you even might have to format your hard disk to delete these infections. Such viruses attack the registry and add infections on every boot. Here is a simple solution to prevent all this, Use USB Firewall, it will prevent the malicious programs that try to launch itself when u insert a USB device. You can remove the malevolent files and the autorun.inf  file associated with just one click.
